Nursery School:

Curriculum

This year's curriculum is the Presbyterian endorsed Bible Quest which is a multi-age curriculum offering a variety of creative and interactive learning opportunities for mixed age groups. Lots of hands on activities!

Activities

• Annual Christmas Program
• Trips to Camp Brainerd, the Presbyterian-owned campground
• Mission Projects, i.e. the annual crop walk; Heifer Project; collection of Christmas Gifts for children of Turning Point; Joyful Noise Collection, donations to people in need collected by the Sunday School kids; Mitten Patch, collection of mittens, hats and scarves for low-income families

Children's Worship Service

On the 3rd Sunday of each month our children participate in our adult service with songs, children's chats, puppet shows and chimes. The children's worship service is a wonderful addition to the church and our congregation looks forward to it each month.

Children at the Lord's Table

Our Presbyterian faith allows baptized children who are being taught the Word of God and nourished by faith to be invited to the Lord's Table. To that end it is an important part of our Christian Education program to see that our children are taught the meaning of this very holy sacrament.

Children's Lending Video Library

Our Children's Video Lending Library is full of Christian videos geared to all ages, from cartoons and Veggie-Tales for the younger students, to older life-teaching videos for teens. Each video teaches a faith based and bible-based story. Our children's library is located in Fellowship Hall.

What do we teach?

Love, compassion, tolerance, and acceptance of all of God's children! To love God our Father above all else and to live a life based on the teachings of Jesus Christ.
